Retro FM is the successor of the radio station Raadio 3. By the fifth year of being active, it had become clear that Raadio 3 station had not gathered enough listeners to make the necessary commercial revenue.
We created a new meaningful brand – Retro FM. In communication, we focused on a clever combination of mass media and targeted media solutions, which could be spotted nearly everywhere. In two months, Retro FM became the Estonia’s most listened radio station during evening drive-time.
Within one year of being active, Retro FM managed to increase its audience by 52%, which increased the commercial revenue by 144%. Retro FM is recognised as the most successful marketing case of all time, with a business growth of 315% (2019).
