Cybernetica is a research and development intensive ICT company that develops and sells mission-critical software systems and products, maritime surveillance and radio communications solutions. Cybernetica has been an active counterpart in developing critical e-Government systems, such as the Estonian X-Road, i-Voting, e-Customs and others. Today Cybernetica delivers its systems to 35 countries around the world. Cybernetica was established as a private limited company in 1997 as the successor of the applied research unit of the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of Estonia, established in 1960. The office wall graphics was created as a synthesis of the logo-based infographics and brand illustrations. Radar systems were the first success story in the history of Cybernetica and the striped circular patterns on the wall were created to represent radar displays. They were designed with a specially programmed application that encoded the text of brand messages into a pattern.
