The history of the Manufaktuuri quarter dates back to 1898, when the construction of the largest spinning factory in the region began there. It is still the largest and most unique example of industrial brick architecture in Tallinn. The quarter is located in the middle of the Kopli peninsula, in one of the fastest growing areas of the city. In the future, the quarter will become a complete living environment, where living spaces are entwined with the offices, restaurants, retail and service premises.
